Watcombe Beach is a small sandy cove a few miles north of Babbacombe and Torquay.

Access:
The car park is some distance from the beach (about a 10 minute walk). The road from the car park to the beach slopes steeply towards the beach and is not suitable for wheel chairs.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year.
Directions:
Torquay is 24 miles from Exeter. From Exeter take the A38 and shortly after Exeter take the A380 (signposted to Torquay) and continue on the A380 past Newton Abbott to the outskirts of Torquay. On the A380 at the Edginswell junction turn left where signposted to Torquay onto the A3022. Follow the A3022 to the sea front at Torre Abbey Sands. Then turn left to follow the A379 into Torquay town centre. Follow the A379 through Torquay and through Babbacombe, then several miles north of Babbacombe, turn right (signposted to Watcombe Beach) and follow this road to the Watcombe Beach car park. There are other routes to Watcombe Beach such as the A379 from Teignmouth.
